Iced tamarind

This drink is one of the most exotic drinks you can probably find at every coffee house in Vietnam. It's cheap, healthy and perfect for those who love sweet and tangy taste.

Ingredients: 2 servings
6 ounces of raw seedless tamarind (you can find it at any Asian store)
6 tbsp of sugar or more depending on your taste
4 ounces of toasted peanut
water and ice

Directions:
In a pan, add tamarind, sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture looks like caramel. Cool off
In each glass, pour in about half of the mixture.Add ice and stir well. Sprinkle peanut on top.
My ratio for tamarind mixture and ice is 1:2
Enjoy!

Avocado shake

Avocado shake
2 servings

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
1 cup of milk. You can also use soy milk or coconut or almond milk if lacto intolerance. I use coconut cream. Savoy coconut cream brand is the best.
3/4 cup of ice cubes
5 tbsp of sugar

Put avocado, milk, ice and sugar in a blender. Blend them until smooth.

Note: If you are a durian eater, you can add 1 tablespoon of durian in the mixture. It's a perfect combination. My husband runs away when he smells durians the first time but now he loves them.

Enjoy!
